UP has now better facilities than Mumbai: Gadkari

Mahoba (UP): Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday gave credit to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for bringing the neglected Bundelkhand on the track of development and said that on the one hand, Uttar Pradesh will develop under the leadership of Yogi, India will become the world’s number one power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After laying the foundation stone and inaugurating the road projects here, Gadkari said that employment generation, employment to the youth, right price for the crops to the farmers, alleviating poverty, making the country happy and prosperous are the principles and our mission of the BJP.
He said that UP is making rapid strides on the path of development under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath and the state has better facilities and employment opportunities than Mumbai today.
He said, “Earlier, many people from UP used to come to Mumbai. I once said to someone that as a result of the efforts of Modi-Yogi to provide better facilities and employment in UP than in Mumbai, people from UP will gradually move there from Mumbai. This is the specialty of our work.”
Gadkari said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government’s guiding principle and mission are to eradicate poverty, create jobs for the unemployed, give farmers fair prices for their crops and make the nation joyful and prosperous.
He said that Bundelkhand and Maharashtra have an old relationship. “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been our idol since childhood. There was a close friendship between Chhatrapati Shivaji and Chhatrasal Maharaj, the king of Bundelkhand. In the 17th century, this bond of friendship was greatly strengthened. This is the land of heroes. Yogi is making history on this land,” he said.
The Union Minister said that the people of Uttar Pradesh were pleased with Yogi Adityanath’s leadership. “On behalf of the nation’s citizens, I thank you. Ram Rajya will be soon established in the country,” he said.
He said that when he was the president of the party, he was campaigning in UP and saw that there were many potholes on the roads. “Under the double-engine government roads are smooth and potholes free,” he said.
Stating that UP is developing continuously under the leadership of Yogi, Gadkari said that industries are coming up and irrigation facilities are increasing. He also made several announcements related to development.
Gadkari said that roads of this caliber will be constructed, making it possible to forget the past. “This is just a trailer, the movie is yet to be released. If you give more power to the double engine. On the one hand, Yogi’s leadership will help UP grow, and on the other, Modi will help India rise to become the world’s most powerful nation. The farmer of the country will then not only become a provider of food, but also a provider of energy,” he said.
