Jammu: Nearly 750 paddlers will be part of week-long 84th Senior National and Inter State Table Tennis Championship scheduled to be held from March 20 to 27 here at Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu.
An official on Tuesday said that J&K Table Tennis Association under the aegis of the Table Tennis Federation of India has been given the responsibility to host the 84th Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championship 2023 in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
International names like Sharath Kamal Achanta, Manika Batra, Sathiana Ganasekaran and many others of national repute are among around 750 players from 34 States, Union Territories and Institutions from all over the country are going to participate in the mega event.
“Successful conduct of such mega sports event depends largely upon the coordinated efforts, help from the enthusiasts and those who patronize the games and sports in the country as well as UT,” he added.
