J&K Police felicitates 3 youth for showing act of bravery in Baramulla

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday felicitated three local youth of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district for their act of bravery, officials said.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure felicitated three local youth of Baramulla Town for saving two precious lives from drowning in river Jhelum, police said.
The youth identified Saqib Ahmad Gojri a resident of Qazi Hamam Old Town Baramulla, Wamiq Parveiz Kullu of Ganie Hamam Baramulla and Sahil Ahmad War a resident of Gulnaar Park Baramulla were felicitated for showing act of bravery while saving 2 precious lives from drowning in river Jhelum at Suspension Bridge Dewanbagh and Cement Bridge Baramulla in two different incidents.
They were felicitated with a token of appreciation, mementoes and cash rewards, police added.
SSP Baramulla appreciated them for the act of bravery in saving precious lives on time & said that such acts will definitely inspire others to do more good for the society.
