Srinagar: A Central Reserve Police Force trooper of 53 Battalion was killed in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
They told GNS that a car driven by one Mushtaq Ahmad Wani (40)skidded off the road, resulting in critical injuries to him.
“He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival”, they said.
The deceased, they said, was a CRPF trooper, who was currently on leave.
Confirming it, a police official told GNS said that a case has been registered in this regard. (GNS)
