Cooch Behar: JKCA’s Ranjot takes fifer, Nutan, Manan take Mumbai to 318/6

Jammu: The promising left-arm spinner Ranjot Singh from Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association took a brilliant Five-wicket haul but could not stop visitor’s Mumbai from scoring heavily on day-one of the Four-Day Under-19 Boys Cooch Behar Trophy match being played here at GGM Science College Hostel ground.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Mumbai scored 318/6 in 90 overs.
Nutan top scored with 79 runs off 107 balls, studded with 12 delectable boundaries, while Manan Bhatt contributed 52 off 122 balls with 7 fours and one six.
Angkridh Raghuvanshi (33) and Ayush Mhatre (26) were the other contributors.
Arjun Dani (42) and Umar Khan (40) were on the crease at the draw of stumps today.
For host J&K, Ranjot Singh was the pick of the bowlers, who captured 5 wickets by conceding 87 runs in his 32 overs, while Aman Singh claimed one wicket by conceding 30 runs in his 13 overs.
