Gyanvapi: Court fixes Nov 11 as next date of hearing
Varanasi: The counsels of the Muslim side on Wednesday raised objections on a plea moved by the Hindu side requesting to clear the debris in the basement in Gyanvapi mosque complex and to issue a survey commission of the place.

Raees Ahmad, the counsel of the Anjuman Intezamia Masajid Committee, said they filed their objection citing that the area has been sealed on the orders of the Supreme Court. The court of District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha fixed November 11 as the next date of hearing on which the Hindu side would make its submissions.

Madan Mohan Yadav, the counsel of the Hindu side, said that the survey for basement inside Gyanvapi mosque complex was not done in the previous survey commission by Advocate Commissioner Ajay Mishra on 6 and 7 May and later on by Special Advocate Commissioner Vishal Singh along with Assistant Advocate Commissioner Ajay Pratap Singh, whose report was submitted in the district court on May 19.
