Amit Shah: Security breach in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed when Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s convoy was briefly stopped by his security personnel near Begumpet in Hyderabad on Saturday due to the parking of an unknown person’s vehicle in front of the entrance of hotels, where he was supposed to enter.
The vehicle reportedly belongs to the TRS party leader.
Amit Shah, who is a Z+ security protectee due to his high security threat perception, was in the city since Friday evening to participate in Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations at Parade grounds on Saturday.
The incident is being seen as an alleged security breach since route clearance is an important aspect of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in VVIP’s security.
It is reported that the security personnel broke the rear window pane of the vehicle which reportedly blocked the way of the Home Minister’s convoy.
Police Higher officials are enquiring into the security breach incident.
