Yadav told media persons here that Chief Minister Kumar had earlier visited New Delhi and talked to a number of top opposition leaders to forge unity among opposition parties at national level. Kumar could not meet Sonia Gandhi as she was abroad, he added.
” Both Chief Minister Kumar and RJD president Lalu Prasad would call on Sonia Gandhi after she returns to New Delhi from abroad”, Deputy Chief Minister said adding that there was unanimity among opposition parties to take on BJP unitedly in 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He dismissed the allegation levelled by BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi that several ministers in the Grand Alliance government were tainted.
” Sushil Modi should also notice the tainted ministers in Narendra Modi government and Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh”, Deputy Chief Minister quipped.
While responding to query about doubts being raised by poll strategist Prashant Kishore on promise of giving 10 lakhs jobs to youths, he said that promise would be fulfilled at any cost.
